Asclepias incarnata (Soulmate)

  • Slow to emerge from dormancy, lagging after other perennials.

Asclepias tuberosa (Butterfly Flower)

  • May take up to 3 years to bloom, and blooms grow denser with each passing season.
  • Produces seed pods that release silky-tailed seeds which disperse in the wind.
