Biennial plant:
- 1st Year: tight clump of leaves called a rosette
- 2nd year: flower stalk rises from rosette
In cooler regions, can plant in full sun.

Fertilization
Fertilize with compost or manure. Fertilize in Spring before new growth.
Pruning / Cutting Back
Deadhead spent blooms throughout the growing season if you don't want it to self-sow. Cut flower bloom stalk to the ground.
