Avoid feeding fertilizer.
Pruning / Cutting Back
Does not need to be dead-headed, but looks better and fuller if stems are cut back after flowers start to fade.
Can be divided after 2 years to reinvigorate the plant.
Cover with mulch to overwinter. Cut back just above ground level in late Winter to remove dead foliage.
