Pruning / Cutting Back
Deadhead spent flowers to encourage continuous blooming. Cut flower stalks down to foliage.
Pinching in Spring to encourage shorter, stronger, sturdy plants.
Overwintering: cover with 6" of hay over mulch. Remove this in the Spring.
