Pruning / Cutting Back
Deadheading: When towers begin to fade, cut away stem about ½" below flowers.
Spring: Trim foliage a few inches above the ground before new growth emerges.
Fall: Remove all foliage down to the base of the plant. Winterize by covering the crowns with mulch.
Divide plants every few years to extend the lifespan.
