Insect & Disease Control

Fertilization

Apply 1-2" mulch or compost annually.

Watering

Pruning / Cutting Back

Snip off faded blooms individually, or wait until the blooming period is over.

When deadheading, remove the entire flower stalk down to the base of the plant.

Do not prune after 1st September as pruning stimulates new growth.

Winter / Early Spring - Once plants have died to the ground, cut back to about 4" above the ground, or can leave for winter interest and cut back in the Spring before new growth starts.

Dig up and divide every 3-4 years. This stimulates healthy new growth.
